Since 1592, La Pouyade was exclusively reserved for the members and the privileged friends of the Bouyer-Dubosquet family. Only very recently the 14th generation has decided to make this exceptional cognac available for a larger connoisseur and privileged clientele.

Only one quality exists. La Pouyade is a Grande Champagne Cognac Premier Cru, where the grape used in the elaboration, the Folle Blanche, is planted and where the family’s own vineyards are located.

La Pouyade is a pure and natural product. When creating La Pouyade, each and every step of the process is controled meticulously, from the grape to the final bottling. All that explains why the tasting of La Pouyade is such a unique and rich experience of detecting its tastes and aromas :

• The lightest aromas that can only be detected for a couple of seconds at the very beginning of the tasting , are the Violet, Magnolia, Orange flower, Acacia and many others.
• The heavier aromas , appearing once the floury aromas are gone, can be felt by the nose and by the pallet while tasting La Pouyade : Cinnamon, Banana, Almond, Truffle and Pepper.
• ' The body tastes ' that can be only detected by the pallet while we still feel the above mentioned aromas through the nose : Apricot, Vanilla, Cafe and several others.
