PLYMOUTH
GIN is a gin with an unrivalled heritage:
One of
only a few surviving gins from the 18th Century.
It has
been distilled for over 200 years in Plymouth, at the same
site now England's oldest working distillery. In the early
1800s it became the Gin of the Royal Navy and was consequently
taken to all corners of the world. PLYMOUTH GIN was the favourite
gin of Franklin D. Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, Ian Fleming
and Alfred Hitchcock.

It is
the only gin with a 'geographic registration', a sort of 'appellation
contrôlée'. It can only be made in Plymouth,
England.
The softness
and purity of the Dartmoor water used in the distillation
and bottling, ensures that PLYMOUTH GIN is noticeably the
smoothest gin on the market. Hand crafted in small batches,
PLYMOUTH GIN has been made in an unchanged process passed
down from one generation of head stillman to the next.
