BLANTON'S SINGLE BARREL BOURBON WHISKEY

Blanton’s international award-winning bourbon whiskey, is produced in very limited quantities, one barrel at a time, each taking its own sweet time to mature. Unlike other Bourbons, Blanton's is a Single Barrel product, ripened to perfection and unblended. Its age could be as old as 10, even 12 years.

SINGLE BARREL BOURBON

A super-premium unblended Bourbon, bottled from a single barrel. Because the product is not blended with barrels from the same or previous years, the role of the master distiller is paramount in ensuring the highest product quality. He must determine which barrels will be selected for bottling at the precise moment or peak of maturity, guaranteeing the greatest consistency, bottle to bottle.

No aging statement is made with a single barrel Bourbon, since aging varies barrel to barrel, according to the characteristics of the barrel itself, and to its location in the distilling house.

Since there is no precise science in determining exactly when a barrel is ready for bottling, the product is drawn, filtered and bottled by hand as each barrel matures. Limited production quantities vary from year to year.
